How to bring your Trackstack contacts to Dubsend
Trackstack builds a contact list from everyone who sends music to your inbox. This guide shows how to export it, import it into Dubsend, and record consent the right way for people who sent you demos.

Dubsend publishes this page. Facts about Trackstack come from its help pages and pricing page, listed under Sources with the day we checked them. Trackstack can change its menus and plans, so check its pages if a step looks different.
What Trackstack's contacts are
Trackstack adds everyone who submits music to your inbox to your Contacts, once or many times. The list is made of people who sent you music. They didn't ask for your promos, so treat the export as a list of people to invite before you send them anything.
Contacts is part of Trackstack's paid plans: its pricing page shows professional contacts as unlimited on Pro, Max and Enterprise and not included on Free.
Export your contacts from Trackstack
- Sign in to Trackstack and open Contacts.
- Click Export CSV to download the whole list, or use Advanced Export to export only the contacts from some locations or added between two dates.
Trackstack's help says the file holds names, emails, countries, submission history and interaction timestamps. It doesn't list the exact column names.
Import the file into Dubsend
In Dubsend open Contacts, then Import, and drop the file. Dubsend recognises a Trackstack file from its name or its columns and suggests a match for each column. You can change every match before anything is saved.
| In your Trackstack file | In Dubsend |
|---|---|
| Email (the only column you must match) | |
| Name | Name |
| Country | Country |
| Submission history and timestamps | Not imported: leave them as Not in my file |
You can also tag every contact in the file "From Trackstack". Up to 10,000 rows per file. An address already in your Dubsend contacts is added once: Dubsend fills in its empty fields and adds the tags.
Invite them first
Sending a demo to your inbox is not the same as asking for your promos. When you import the file, choose "I don't have their permission yet: invite them". Each person gets one invitation with your label's card, at most 2 reminders, and no promos unless they accept.
For people you already work with and who would expect your promos, such as artists on your label or DJs you swap music with, put them in a separate file and choose "Existing professional contact". This is general information and isn't legal advice.
Keeping Trackstack for demos
Trackstack and Dubsend do different jobs. You can keep your Trackstack inbox for demos and send your releases to your own list through Dubsend. The two don't connect, so export again from Trackstack when you want to invite new people. Dubsend merges addresses it already has.
Questions
Can I export contacts on Trackstack's free plan?
Trackstack's pricing page lists professional contacts on Pro, Max and Enterprise and not on Free, so you may need a paid Trackstack plan to open Contacts and export it.
Can I send promos to everyone who sent me a demo?
Invite them first. They sent you music, which isn't the same as asking for your promos. Dubsend's invitations ask once, with up to two reminders, and only people who accept get promos.
Does Dubsend import the submission history?
No. Dubsend imports the email, name and country. Submission history and timestamps stay in Trackstack.
