Dubsend and Inflyte compared
Both send unreleased music to a label's own DJ, radio and press contacts. The differences are in price, how lists are built, what the stats measure and the extras each one includes.

The same job
With both tools a label, artist or promo agency uploads a release, sends it to its own contacts, and each contact listens and gives feedback on a promo page before downloading. The sender gets stats and a report for the artist. Neither tool sells contact lists: you bring your own.

An example. A label sends 4 promos a month to 1,500 contacts. Inflyte's 5-promo plan is £99 a month plus VAT (£118.80 for a UK company). Dubsend Label is £29 a month with VAT included and covers 2,500 recipients a month.
A label that sends one promo a year pays £33 plus VAT on Inflyte's pay as you go. On Dubsend it can use the Free plan if its list has 100 people or fewer, or one month of a paid plan.
Building your list
- Inflyte is opt-in only: each contact accepts an invitation before they get promos. Public sign-up links are not offered, by design.
- Dubsend has three ways in: a CSV import with a consent record for each contact (they asked for your promos, or they are an existing professional contact), a public join page with double opt-in, and invitations that show your label's card. Someone who declines an invitation can't be added again by that label.
The promo page and feedback
| Inflyte | Dubsend | |
|---|---|---|
| Account needed to listen | No: a personal link, or the Inflyte app | No: a personal link that opens in any browser |
| Feedback before download | The default, with Feedback Later, No Feedback Required and Stream-Only modes | The default, with optional and off modes |
| Download formats | WAV, AIFF and MP3, depending on what the label uploads | MP3 320, WAV (your upload, unchanged) and AIFF, from a WAV, AIFF or FLAC upload |
| Files tagged with the recipient's name | Not stated in Inflyte's help pages | Yes, name and email in every file |
| Apps for DJs | iOS and Android | Works in the phone's browser; the promo inbox can be added to the home screen |
Dubsend's feedback asks for 1 to 5 stars, a favourite track when there is more than one, how the DJ will support it (in their sets, on the radio, in a playlist, or not sure yet) and a comment. A DJ who doesn't want the promo presses Pass, and the label sees that too.
Reminders
Inflyte senders can send reminders to collect feedback. Dubsend sends up to two reminders (after 3 and 10 days by default, both editable) to people who haven't opened the promo page, downloaded or given feedback. A Nudge button emails people who listened and left no feedback, once each. Nobody gets more than 3 emails per promo.
Stats and reports
Inflyte has live shared stats and PDF reports with custom templates.
Dubsend counts the seconds each person actually played, track by track, and lists opens caused by email privacy tools (such as Apple Mail) separately so they don't inflate the numbers. You see a funnel from sent to feedback and a table per person, and you can share a read-only report link or a PDF with the artist, with DJ names shown or hidden.
Branding and sending
On paid plans Dubsend puts your logo, colours, fonts and one of four layouts on the email and the promo page. Promos come from "Your label via Dubsend".
Teams and agencies
Dubsend Label includes 3 team seats and Pro includes 10, with Editor and Viewer roles. On Pro a promo agency can run up to 5 client brands and give each client up to 5 read-only logins.
Where Inflyte fits better
- You want airplay tracking included. Inflyte's RADAR, on every plan, monitors radio, playlists, DJ sets and Beatport and Traxsource charts for tracks with valid ISRCs. Dubsend has no airplay tracking yet.
- Your DJs want rated promos delivered to rekordbox 7 or Dropbox, or a native app on iOS or Android.
- You need pre-save links, watermarked audio or a distributor API (watermarking and the APIs are on Inflyte's monthly plans).
- You send a promo or two a year and prefer paying per promo.
Where Dubsend fits better
- You send more than a couple of promos a month and want one flat price with no per-promo fees.
- You want to try it with a real promo on a free plan.
- You want listening time per track as the main number, with privacy-tool opens kept apart.
- You want the promo email and page in your own brand kit.
- You want a public join page for your list as well as invitations.
Moving to Dubsend
- Get your contact list as a CSV file, from your current tool or your own records.
- Import it into Dubsend and record how you got consent: they opted in to your promos.
- Set up your brand kit and send your next promo. Your earlier promos and stats stay where they are.
