Promo list cleaner

Paste your DJ, radio and press addresses or open a CSV file. The cleaner removes duplicates, marks invalid addresses, suggests fixes for typos like gmial.com and flags shared inboxes. Your list never leaves this browser.

Your list

Your list never leaves this browser. It is read and cleaned on this device. Nothing is uploaded, sent to Dubsend or saved, and it is gone when you close the page.

Paste from a spreadsheet, a CSV or an email. Names, other columns and separators are ignored.
CSV or text files up to 10 MB. The file is read in this browser.

Your clean list

Paste your list or open a CSV file, then press Clean the list.

  1. Finds every email address, in any column
  2. Lower-cases them and removes duplicates
  3. Marks addresses that are not complete
  4. Suggests fixes for typos like gmial.com
  5. Flags shared inboxes like info@ and noreply@

Send it with Dubsend

Import the clean CSV into Dubsend with each contact's role, genres and consent record. Addresses that bounce and people who unsubscribe are then blocked for you.

What the cleaner checks

The cleaner tidies a list you already have. The guide how to build a DJ promo list with consent covers who belongs on it and how to keep a record of consent.

  1. Duplicates: the same address in another case or with spaces around it is kept once.
  2. Invalid addresses: a missing or double @, no domain, or a domain without an ending like .com. They are left out of the clean list.
  3. Possible typos: domains one key away from a common mail provider, like gmial.com or hotmail.co, and endings like .con. You choose whether to use the suggested spelling.
  4. Shared inboxes: addresses like info@, contact@ and noreply@. They stay in the list, marked for you to check.

Before you send to the list

  • Keep only people who asked for your promos or who you work with, and note how you got each address.
  • Never add bought or scraped addresses: they bounce and report spam, which hurts delivery for every promo after.
  • Remove hard bounces after each send, and never add back people who unsubscribed.
  • Remove noreply addresses: nobody reads them.

Questions

Is the list cleaner free?

Yes. It works in your browser and needs no account. The list is read and cleaned on your device and never sent to Dubsend or anywhere else.

Does it check that each address exists?

No. It checks the spelling and the format of each address. Checking that a mailbox exists would mean sending the list to a server. Addresses that bounce after your first send should come off the list.

Why are info@ and noreply@ addresses flagged and not removed?

They are shared inboxes, read by a team or by nobody. Some are the right address, like a radio show's inbox. Check that whoever reads each one asked for your promos, and remove the noreply addresses: nobody reads them.

Which files can it open?

CSV and text files up to 10 MB, from any spreadsheet or promo tool export. It finds the addresses in any column, so you don't need to pick one.
